Jules Pascin - La Mélancolique [1909]
Lucy Krohg, wife of the Norwegian artist Per Krohg, was Pascin’s mistress. Upon his death in 1930, Pascin (1885 - 1930) left his entire body of work to her and to his wife, Hermine David. Lucy Krogh opened the Galerie Lucy Krohg in Paris in 1932, and exhibited Pascin’s work there.
